Overview

Groundhogs, also called woodchucks, dig burrow systems that can run thirty feet with multiple exits. Under a shed or slab they undermine the structure, and in a garden they strip it overnight. We remove the animal and install underground barriers where the property needs them.

Signs to look for

How you know it is time to call.

Any one of these is enough. Two or more means there is an animal already inside.

Sagging or cracked concrete near a burrow

Map the burrow system
We locate the main entrance and escape holes so the removal is complete, not partial.

Humane trapping
Animals are trapped and handled in accordance with Michigan wildlife regulations.

Fill and barrier
Burrows are filled and, where needed, screen barriers are trenched in around structures to block re-entry.
